6 #PalestineAction activists WILL face a retrial

Cleared of aggravated burglary earlier this month but the jury could not decide on criminal damage charges against all defendants, as well as allegations of violent disorder against Head, Corner, and Kamio. & GBH charge of Corner

Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC said the decision had been made after the prosecution "reconsidered the sufficiency of the evidence" in relation to the charge.

Joint enterprise is a legal doctrine that allows multiple people to be convicted of the same crime, even if they didn't all strike the physical blow. It focuses on the shared intent to commit an offence

The case of Jogee [2016] Liability is now only imposed in cases where a jury are sure of a participant’s KNOWLEDGE of the principal’s crime.
