Trapped I A macro photograph taken from straight above of a sheet of ice hanging just over the surface of a small stream. In the ice are a multitude of air bubbles trapped, forming a wide band of small bubbles across the entire image. refractions and reflections from the water and ice create roughly a vertical wavy pattern of light and dark, and in a few small patches, the warmer colours of sand and stoned at the bottom of the stream can be glimpsed.
