So apparently Randy Andy the former prince #Andrew montebatten-sparklepants-Windsor, or whatever his real name is, has been rounded up by bobbies and tossed in a tank.

Now, knowing what I know of the aristocracy, he is not in a tank as you and I would be, with common criminals and mystery food, but he is certainly inconvenienced, and I doubt his butler is there to wipe his bum or brush his teeth.

I doubt seriously that anything will come of it, the Epstein Class has proven to be above the law so far, and the Royals are definitely not treated like the commoners, but maybe the UK will lead the way. Weirder things have happened in this timeline.

Just a thought, but maybe it’s time to #AbolishTheMonarchy? And #AbolishBillionaires.

@kevinrns They've released him. The picture the Guardian had is so worthy of the "seen some things" meme. He may have actually come to face with the fact that being second born doesn't have quite the same privileges as the first can expect.

Still, I think this may be the first royal in 300-400 years to be arrested? It's been two score years since I studied British history, but wasn't the mad "I'm king because Divine Right and you have to authority to try me" King Charles the last one to be arrested? And he had to do a whole civil war, iirc, before they picked him up and subsequently beheaded (?) him. (I'm hazy on details, I just remember he started the English Civil War because Divine Right, and I may be wrong on that too.)
