There are much smaller, but no less meaningful popular uprising against data centers happening all over America at this point.
I’ve seen video of communities erupting in a chorus of joy as one amongst them declare that the data center proposal has been rejected.

I'm not sure it is, has been tried before with not superb results, think there was one in the UK in support of miners rights and the whole thing went off a cliff and the miners forgotten 😝
