Palestinian journalist Somaya Jawabra, from Nablus, a mother of four, has been under open-ended house arrest for more than two years after being detained by Israeli occupation authorities while seven months pregnant.

She was released under strict conditions, including a full ban on leaving her home, working, or using a phone or social media, alongside a 50,000 shekel fine and the threat of re-arrest for failing to abide by any of these strict rules.
