Most of the actors in this scene were students from the Sisi Film Lab training. In the first phase of the training, they usually act in each other’s short film exercises, so when it came to this final student film, many of them were already used to being on set and in front of the camera.

There’s a kind of pain that comes when you remember someone who was just beginning. Belinda had only started her filmmaking journey last year under the Sisi Film Lab training in Arua (West Nile.) She moved with so much purpose, like she knew exactly where she wanted to go. It is so sad that we lost her. Tomorrow we say goodbye as she is laid to rest. 🕊️
