My Android phone is ancient and the only browsers that works on it are Firefox based, and all appallingly slow.
I found what appears to be a nice open source alternative that is fast, doesn't seem to want lots of permissions or send loads of telemetry, is nicely configurable and utterly lacks any AI junk.
