Every so often my body weakens, and I fall sick again in the same cycle fever, exhaustion, a cough that won’t quiet down… as if the cold has memorized the way to me.💔
The dampness seeps into the bones, and the freezing air shows no mercy to a tired chest.

When I was displaced from my home, the only place I could find in Al-Mawasi was a tent to live in. But to buy what my children and I need, I have to take transportation because we are far from the city.

Every so often my body weakens, and I fall sick again in the same cycle fever, exhaustion, a cough that won’t quiet down… as if the cold has memorized the way to me.💔
The dampness seeps into the bones, and the freezing air shows no mercy to a tired chest.
The water we drink even though we know it isn’t safe we drink it because there is no other choice. And every time I get sick, I ask myself: is it the cold? Is it the water? Or both together? 💔
The pain isn’t only physical…
The pain is feeling yourself growing weaker little by little, and realizing that illness has become part of your normal life.

When I was displaced from my home, the only place I could find in Al-Mawasi was a tent to live in. But to buy what my children and I need, I have to take transportation because we are far from the city.
Today I went to the market to buy some essentials, but I was extremely exhausted trying to find a way to get there. The only transport I found was the one in the photo. With the strong winds, I returned home sick. It was a very exhausting day while fasting.
