An abandoned rusting industrial ruin in North Wales.
This former industrial site was used to extract bromine. Established to produce fuel additives for leaded petrol, the works transitioned to bulk bromine and sulphuric acid production in the 1960s.
However, a major fire and a toxic gas leak in the 1990s left five people injured. The plant was decommissioned in the mid-2000s.
