@neil MPs have a special power to demand Ofcom do something about particular sites? Do us mere serfs have that same ability? How long until we see MPs writing to Ofcom because they don’t like an unfavourable blog post about them? The slope gets slippier.
@neil and unfortunately OFCOM action is becoming like having an ASBO - a mark of status in some crowds.

If I got legal threats from TinpotDictatorLand's regulator because *their* laws suddenly outlawed blogging about jigsaw puzzles, I'd probably stick that on the wall myself 😉
@neil certainly seems to be with the 4chan lot. Your site is only properly leet if you need a VPN to access it
@etchedpixels Hmm... perhaps! 4Chan's legal arguments, at least, are somewhat more nuanced...
From a quick look around, it appears to be a "controversial gossip website", the subject of litigation relating to harassment.
It looks like the recent letters are prompted by someone dying by suicide following comments on that site.
