Robert Duvall, a prolific, Oscar-winning actor who shunned glitz and won praise as one of his generation's greatest and most versatile artists, has died at age 95. UPDATE: Robert Duvall passed away yesterday at 95, Luciana Duvall announced today. THE GODFATHER, APOCALYPSE NOW, THE APOSTLE were among his very best film work. I interviewed him in 2010 and wrote about him on my film website The Popcorn Reel. I took this photo of him at the time.
