Today in Labor History February 15, 2003: 25 million people demonstrated against President George W. Bush’s plan to go to war in Iraq, making it the largest coordinated protest in history. Demonstrations took place in over 100 countries. 3 million people took to the streets of Rome, making it the largest demonstration ever in a single city. Yet the protests achieved nothing. The war proceeded, with massive casualties, particularly for Iraqi civilians. Estimates suggest that over 4.5 million people died due to Bush’s “War on Terror,” making him one of the top ten most murderous world leaders in history.

The elites don't give a shit about protests.
#Germany has seen it. In January 2024, we had the largest protests in German history after we found out about a secret meeting where the nazis and conservatives conspired to deport legal immigrants. We achieved … nothing. The conservatives only made the nazis stronger since then. And deportations are now openly happening in full gears rather than just being planned in secret.
The USA has seen it. Again! The #NoKings protests are massive … and achieved nothing.
The elites don't care. They don't care about protests. They just ignore them.
Do something else.
Join a union. Speak with people who are in a union. Go on strike.
You can start with quitting Amazon. Buy your stuff elsewhere. Yes, it's a bit more expensive. But it also doesn't finance a company that funds fascism.
