The system has monetary incentives to arrest and incarcerate as many people as they can in the many concentration camps they're building. They don't care where or how they find the bodies.

The elites don't give a shit about protests.

#Germany has seen it. In January 2024, we had the largest protests in German history after we found out about a secret meeting where the nazis and conservatives conspired to deport legal immigrants. We achieved … nothing. The conservatives only made the nazis stronger since then. And deportations are now openly happening in full gears rather than just being planned in secret.

The USA has seen it. Again! The #NoKings protests are massive … and achieved nothing.

The elites don't care. They don't care about protests. They just ignore them.

Do something else.

Join a union. Speak with people who are in a union. Go on strike.

You can start with quitting Amazon. Buy your stuff elsewhere. Yes, it's a bit more expensive. But it also doesn't finance a company that funds fascism.

Fast noch schlimmer als Menschen, die offen faschistische Parteien oder Personen wählen, sind für mich jene, die zwar gegen Faschismus sind, aber anfangen, seine Wähler*innen zu entschuldigen, zu relativieren oder ihre Entscheidung als irgendwie nachvollziehbar darzustellen.

Ja, ich verstehe Wut.
Ja, ich verstehe Enttäuschung.
Ja, ich verstehe das Gefühl, von Politik und Systemen im Stich gelassen worden zu sein.

Aber: Nichts davon ist eine Rechtfertigung für Faschismus.

Keine persönliche Tragödie.
Keine Benachteiligung.
Keine strukturelle Vernachlässigung.

Wer Faschismus wählt, nimmt bewusst das wachsende Leid anderer in Kauf. Das ist keine Protestwahl. Das ist eine Entscheidung gegen Menschenwürde.

Gerade deshalb müssen wir laut bleiben.
Solidarisch bleiben.
Widersprechen, wenn relativiert wird.
Haltung zeigen, auch wenn es unbequem ist.

Damit Menschlichkeit nicht zur Randnotiz wird, sondern Massstab bleibt.
